Another meeting was held on November 17, 2014, at 3:00 P.M., at the Manila Cathedral-Basilica (MCB) to prepare for the Papal Mass at the Premier Church, Premier Cathedral and Premier Basilica of the Philippines.
And being a Cathedral-Basilica, it is not just the Church of the Archbishop of Manila being a Cathedral, it is also the Church of the Pope being a Basilica. That is why the MCB carries the Papal Emblem on the Arch above the Sanctuary and on its Front Facade.
The meeting centered on identifying all the requirements for Liturgy, Security and Public Order, Physical Arrangement, Transportation, Health Services, and Information and Media for the Papal Mass at the Manila Cathedral-Basilica. After identifying and finalizing, all the requirements will be timelined or calendared as to procurement and installation or implementation as the case may be.
